Grace Miles is a classically trained oil painter primarily painting outdoors. After years living in Europe and studying classical painting at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, she returned to the deep Appalachian mountains where she now paints in Greene County Virginia. Her work is about slowing down long enough to notice what is already there.
