Grace Miles Collection
Each brushstroke captures the essence of light, atmosphere, and movement.

These paintings are done out there—en plein air—where the air is thick with stories, the light changes its mind every five minutes, and the world hums with the kind of energy that refuses to be contained. It’s a wild, relentless pursuit of beauty, raw and untamed.

So come on in. Stay a while. Let your eyes wander. Who knows what might happen?

Field Notes

My dear Brutus, upholding his unspoken contract of his ancestors: to guard, to startle, and to remind the world that some spirits are forged for vigilance.

Quick sketch of Chievres Grand Place, Belgium. Pen & gouache on paper.

Chloe, our little renegade with princess's taste and a warrior's instinct.

To the untrained eye, Brabants are simply strong, sturdy beasts, built for toil and tradition. But for those who look closer, when the sunlight kiss the curves of their coat just right, a secret is revealed, a shadowy glow of purple. A living purple, that I wish I had more opportunity to study.

Even the grandest estates need a little rebellion, I was subject to the whims of Tom who had declared himself my muse and critic, he apparently took offense to my color choices, and darted off with some of my brushes.

The only time I can sketch my loves is when they sleep. Pencil & gouache on paper.

Belgian cheese farm, where trees and fields have been stitched together with patient hands of hundreds of seasons.

Sketch for a bigger painting. Pencil and pen on paper.
